Tim Tszyu 152 3/4 lbs vs. Sebastian Fundora 152 3/4 lbs

Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero 139 1/2 lbs vs. Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz 138 3/4 lbs

Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) bent ahead, feigning like he was going to spring right into a punch throughout his face-off with the 6’5″ Fundora (20-1-1, 13 KOs), who seemed unamused by the WBO 154-lb champion’s makes an attempt to get him to loosen up and crack a smile. Fundora was all enterprise.

The unbeaten Tszyu finally gave up and stood nonetheless so the media might see the 2 face-to-face for the ultimate time earlier than Saturday’s contest. Fundora has obtained his work lower out for him going up towards the massive punching Tszyu. In Fundora’s final battle, Brian Mendoza knocked him out, and there are questions on whether or not he shall be okay as soon as Tszyu begins touchdown on his chin.

WBA mild welterweight champion Rolly (15-1, 13 KOs) was speaking throughout his face-off with ‘Pitbull’ Cruz (25-2-1, 17 KOs). No matter Rolly mentioned sparked one thing in Pitbull, as he needed to get him and needed to be held again.

Cruz is the favourite within the battle, however he’s by no means fought at 140 and has been pulled in from the 135-lb division. It’s anticipated that Romero will rehydrate to the 160s, and have an enormous weight benefit towards the smaller 5’4″ Cruz.

Hopefully, this battle isn’t marred by controversy like Rolly’s final bout towards Ismael Barroso, the place he was given credit score for a knockout regardless of lacking a flurry of punches. That stoppage was a black eye for the game, and the truth that the outcomes have been overturned was much more troubling.
