Because the NBA commerce deadline loomed, hypothesis swirled round a possible deal involving Bobby Portis and Grant Williams, with the Milwaukee Bucks contemplating buying and selling Portis for Williams.
Regardless of the commerce rumors, the deal by no means materialized, and Portis remained with the Bucks as they gear up for the playoffs.
In a candid dialog with NBA insider Shams Charania, Portis expressed his disbelief on the commerce rumors involving Williams.
“After I bought hints of it, I’m like, ain’t no manner I’m getting traded for…excuse my French, that’s my man, I like competing towards him…however I shouldn’t get traded for Grant Williams.
