Having traded Stefon Diggs to the Texans for a 2025 second-round decide, having already misplaced Gabe Davis to the Jaguars in free company, and with a wage cap state of affairs that no economics professor would approve, the Payments are in heavy rebuild mode. They’ll have to get their subsequent explosive receiver within the draft, and Mitchell aligns properly with that want. Final season for the Longhorns, he caught 55 passes on 86 targets for 845 yards (15.4 yards per catch), and 11 touchdowns. Eight of these catches have been on passes of 20 or extra air yards for 302 yards and three touchdowns. WIth Josh Allen throwing him the ball, Mitchell might simply double that whole.
