Tyson Fury: Preemptively Patting Himself On The Back

Tyson Fury made a preemptive request to the media right this moment, asking them to not say Oleksandr Usyk is “s***” after he defeated him on Could 18th of their undisputed heavyweight championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

WBC heavyweight champion Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) desires to make sure he’s given full credit score for beating the previous undisputed cruiserweight Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). Fury’s whole technique for successful relies on physics. Use his weight and let gravity take over.

“Please don’t say Usyk’s s*** after I beat him, as a result of he’s not,” mentioned Tyson Fury throughout right this moment’s press conference speaking about his opponent for Could 18th, IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury will depend on measurement towards a fighter with precise expertise who can do all of it within the ring—field, transfer, change angles, and punch just a little. Usyk is every thing that Fury will not be.

I don’t see the 270+ lb behemoth Fury credit score as a result of he’s going to outweigh the 220+ lb Usyk by 50 lbs and can certainly use his mauling fashion to only lean on him the best way he does all his opponents at this stage in his profession.

The Fury Preventing System – It’s Not Difficult

• Seize: Put his Grizzly bear arms round his opponents and maintain them nonetheless to allow them to’t escape.
• Lean: Put all his 270+ lb weight on the fighter and pressure them to assist him whereas the referee appears on, not breaking the non-action.
• Rinse and Repeat: Proceed this sample till the opponent is exhausted from carrying round his weight.

Fury’s combating fashion is fundamental at this level in his profession and nowhere close to elite. It’s only a huge man that grabs and leans. He’s nowhere close to the most effective heavyweight within the division and by no means was.

Fury: His Largest Power? He’s Large

“I’m the most effective. I’m simply defending my ‘best-ness’ towards him,” mentioned Fury about Usyk. “We have now weight divisions for a purpose. When the cruiserweights step as much as the massive boys, they’ve normally been discovered wanting. You possibly can beat the typical huge ones, however you possibly can’t beat the elite huge ones as a result of measurement actually issues. These are details.”
